Tempe Cop Mike Wallace's Pattern Of Thuggery
by Brian A. Wilkins

The saying goes "once is a chance, twice a coincidence, three times a pattern," but the proverb needs amending when it comes to Tempe criminal cops, especially Officer Mike Wallace. As many of you know, a notice of claim was served on the City of Tempe and the Tempe Police Department on my behalf, which also named three specific officers: "Johnson", Detective Jeff Loewenhagen, and Wallace. In the course of my research tonight, as a federal lawsuit will be filed against Tempe without settlement of the claim by mid-March, I found this Wallace character has a "colorful" history.
Officer Mike Wallace was also named in a 2005 federal civil rights lawsuit against the City of Tempe and Tempe Police. Prentice Williams alleges in the lawsuit (which I haven't been able to find the outcome yet) that Wallace "attempted to murder him by running him over with a police car." Williams, who is "black," also alleged "selective enforcement" and racial profiling when stating the claim against Wallace, along with Officers Matt Worbington and Mike Warren.
I guess nobody should be surprised by anything that goes on with the Tempe Police anymore. This is the same department who's former chief, Ralph Tranter, was paid $165,000 in 2008 for doing absolutely nothing; yes, the same Tranter who violated city personnel rules in his last days as chief when he tried to use his position to get a friend of his a lighter sentence for charges he was facing. And now Tempe's new Chief, Tom Ryff, encourages his officers to lie to get what they want. Tempe looks, acts, and smells like a corrupt corporation; pays large sums of money to rogues for doing no work and is dominated by European American males with a self-created complex against Nubian Americans ("blacks"). Gosh, if only I could have "done a little rap" for Wallace et al. the night of July 22, 2008...maybe none of this would have never happened.
